RIZZO ROSSA RADICAL RELIEF is providing formal notice that we suspended business operations and product sales in Spring 2026 as a result of the changing federal regulatory environment surrounding hemp-derived CBD and cannabinoid products.
In late 2025, federal legislation was enacted substantially changing the definition and regulation of hemp-derived cannabinoid products. These changes were intended in part to address the proliferation of
intoxicating hemp-derived products that had entered the consumer marketplace under provisions of the 2018 Farm Bill.
Although Rizzo Rossa has focused on CBD products formulated below
applicable levels for psychoactive compounds and has never operated
with the intention of exploiting these regulatory loopholes, the changing federal and state regulatory environment created significant
uncertainty for small businesses throughout the hemp and CBD industry.
Out of an abundance of caution, I made the decision in Spring 2026
to suspend sales and cease regular business operations while the new regulations, compliance requirements, and their effect on
our products are clarified.
At this time, Rizzo Rossa remains closed and is not conducting regular business or product sales. I have transitioned away from self-employment
and am pursuing workforce training and new employment opportunities.
This may not be goodbye forever. If the regulatory environment becomes sufficiently clear and I determine that Rizzo Rossa can responsibly and sustainably operate within all applicable requirements, I may consider reopening or restructuring the business in the future.
